When and why did you go natural?
In 2004, I was tired of having to relax my hair often and the pain that comes with burning my scalp during the process.
Did you transition or big cop?
I grew out my relaxed hair for about 2 months, had a mini afro then I cut my hair.
What is your hair type?
How did others (friends, family, and colleagues) react to your decision to go natural?
I'd say about 90% of the people I know were against my decision to cut my hair and go natural.
What is your current regimen?
I wash my hair every 2 weeks. Then I keep it in plaits for one week and let my hair down for a week as well.
I feed my locks with hair food every 2 days -well at least I try to do it that often!
What are your holy grail products?
I like Jabu Stone products
What do you like the most about natural hair/being natural?
I dint have to worry about straightening my hair. Shortened preparation time in the morning as locks are easier to maintain.
