Farmhouse Juice Cleanse

My 3-day farmhouse juice cleanse has just arrived. I read about the benefits of doing a juice cleanse, and I think it’s exactly what I need because I’ve been feeling very tired and I’ve been getting stomach pains, headaches and unhealthy food cravings.

The only problem I foresee with the cleanse is whether I'll have the discipline and willpower to see it through for all 3 days because I love good food sooooo much!

About the cleanse:

You get 6 juices a day that should be taken in order every 2 hours from when you wake up. To keep hydrated during the day you can drink water and tea. The juice is 100% natural and made from raw fruits and vegetables. The 3 day cleanse jumpstarts your immune system and helps the body rid itself of old built up matter while cleansing the blood, removing toxins and promoting healing by supplying the blood with vitamins, minerals and enzymes. The cleanse gives your body the nourishment and rest it needs to recover.

The juice:

1. Green Elixir

Benefits: lower blood pressure, balances pH, boosts metabolism.

2. Internal Fix

Benefits: boosts immune system, improves digestion.

3. Beauty Glow

Benefits: healthy hair, skin & nails, lowers cholesterol, regulates blood sugar.

4. Spicy Lemonade

Benefits: anti-bacterial, blood purifying, aids weight loss.

5. Beet It

Benefits: boosts energy, stimulates brain function, aids cell renewal

6. Horchata

Protein, stimulates metabolism

Benefits of the cleanse:

• More energy
• Regular bowel movements
• Mental clarity
• Emotional stability
• Clearer skin
• Weight loss
• Clearer sinuses

To prepare for the cleanse it is recommended that you only eat raw fruits and vegetable the day before you start to aid the cleansing, and then slowly ease your body back to solid foods by eating raw fruits and vegetables again the day after the cleanse.

I will start my cleanse tomorrow morning and will write a follow up post when its done. Wish me luck!
